Final Post

I guess now I understand a little, little thing on the HTML code.
I want to improve so bad to attempt building my own website.

My next step for the holidays is to figure out how wordpress.org works

And... taken a picture of your own screen is the coolest thing in the world!

NYU Blackboard

I guess having a Blackboard is just great. You can find all the info about your class there without worrying to find a sheet that your professor gave you 8 classes ago...

Therefore you cannot judge our Blackboard ;)

Well, ok. I have to say something...
a) that purple on top of the page is annoying. It's too bright and bothers one's eyes.
b) I do not like the font. It does not give you the pleasure of reading.

an example?
this is an Italian newspaper that makes me relaxed each time I read it

Jason

The last blog I was curious to discover was Jason's, my fellow-group member.

I always thought Jason was an interesting person. As soon as I opened his blog I realized he was a Yoga trained teacher (Jason I neeeeeed you!!!). I look up to those people who can teach Yoga!

The images he picked and modified are supercool, I am happy to see people elaborating modern art. His glimpse of East Africa is marvelous. And as far as his music concrete page, well. He is better than many other musicians exploring this field. Myself included... :(

Jess

The other blog I picked is the one by Jess, because we student-taught in the same school for the whole semester. Jess is a smart, nice woman. I am happy I have met her at NYU.

She had the idea of changing background colors for each page. Which is something that I did not even considered since I was so concerned with the rest of html codes...

She posted Billy Joel's song "Scenes from an Italian restaurant", which I have to admit I did not know.
Thank you Jess... :)

Peter!

Of course, Peter's blog is the first one I want to talk about. Why?
Because he is always so efficient, clear, professional and makes attempts. I always checked his blog out before trying to do mine.

Peter did something that many of us stole. The menu on top of the page to make life easier for our visitors...
And you know that when it comes to Peter, you deal with something regarding Greece...

Browser #2

I found the statistics of the most popular browsers!

It looks like Internet Explorer is slowly dying. Firefox is still number one, although Google Chrome is gaining more and more percentage.

Uranus #2

We changed our initial plan for our presentation. I wish we could do the other idea but maybe it was too creative and we would not have had the time to work on it.

I guess the final decision was the right one because we linked our project both to our art field and to some, useful things we have been learning in the semester and that we will end up in using for the rest of our career.

I wish I had a video of my use of literacy in a class setting. Unfortunately I cannot film the kids I am working with. But at least I have a webpage where I can send my future students to...

I was happy to work with people coming from different art fields. They can open horizons and possibility of collaborations!
